RDW Technology originally said goodbye to the AM4 socket with the release of an improved motherboard

The new A520 motherboard based on AMD processors was developed by the Russian manufacturer of computing equipment RDW Technology. Its creation continues AMD's trend, which the vendor first embodied in Russia four years ago in the release of the RDW-MB-B450M motherboard, released under the RDW Computers brand. This was reported to CNews by a representative of RDW Technology.

The return to the AM4 platform became possible thanks to the active support of the AMD manufacturer itself for its old solutions with new releases, including processors with an increased L3 cache. RDW Technology also decided to improve performance and performance for those users who remained loyal to the AM4 platform. A modern product solution has been implemented on the A520 chipset.

The new RDW Computers motherboard supports AMD Athlon processors; AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, 9 and the DDR4 memory standard with a set of AMD EXPO profiles. Network interface up to 2.5 Gb/s LAN.

The new certified A520 motherboard has become the basis for 30 configurations of RDW Computers registry innovations. These include automated workstations of the Ural series, system blocks of the Pechora series and monoblocks of the Kama series with a variety of options both diagonally and in resolution. ARM and system units are presented in various form factors from compact solutions in SFF enclosures to sufficiently productive workstations in Full Tower enclosures, made in an updated technical design.

"The new RDW A520 motherboard is a technological alternative to the first motherboard from RDW Computers. Modern architecture and support for the latest technologies create an optimal functioning system based on it. It can provide smooth operation and high performance for any level of use. Undoubtedly, this is the perfect symbiosis of improved performance and budget value. Alas, this is our last solution on the AM4 socket. In 2025, we will release the latest motherboard on the AM5 socket," said Pavel Kovalenko, spokesman for RDW Technology. "Serial production of A520 motherboards has begun, and we are ready to meet the needs of customers by the end of 2024."
